Glasgow Science Centre gets major Stem boost
Students and young people using Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) to improve their development in Stem (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are to benefit from a ground-breaking new communications network.

The “collaboration technology”, including superior internet access, will allow students and teachers to communicate and network with scientists from around the world through voice and video.
It will also allow visitors to the GSC to join seminars as well as share knowledge with experts around the globe.

Dr Stephen Breslin, GSC’s chief executive, said pupils would be able to engage with “a North Sea oil-rig engineer, a scientist at Nasa or a researcher from a university – the possibilities are endless”.
