National architectural practice lands in Glasgow
Corstorphine & Wright, which is headquartered in Warwick and employs about 100 people, is currently working on a number of projects in Glasgow including a student accommodation development for Student Castle.
It said the new office would “formalise its presence in the city” and build upon the “excellent relationships” that Sasanbell has already established. The latter will now rebrand as Corstorphine & Wright Scotland.
Babak Sasan, one of the founding directors at Sasanbell, said: “This partnership will combine a wealth of skills, both innovative and practical, promoting further growth.”
Co-founder Charles Bell added: “This venture will positively benefit our clients, giving us a greater breadth of experience across different industry sectors, with more diverse resources to call upon.”
Jeff Downes, director at Corstorphine & Wright, said: “We’ve been really ambitious about our growth strategy, opening a number of new offices in recent years. We’re really excited to be partnering with Sasanbell to open our first office in Scotland, in a city renowned for its architectural heritage.
“Our similar values, goals and even clients will ensure that this venture is a success. We are looking forward to long and sustained growth in Glasgow, drawing on the combined resources across Corstorphine & Wright’s national network of offices.”
