Scots brewer shifts 50 jobs to Glasgow

BREWER Tennent's is to relocate about 50 jobs to its Glasgow headquarters from eastern Europe.

As revealed by Scotland on Sunday, the firm – which is owned by Irish drinks heavyweight C&C – is also investing 7 million in modernising its back office system in Scotland.

The investment was supported by a 245,000 support package from Scottish Development International (SDI).

Just over 20 jobs will be in credit control and management accounts, with a further 37 in telesales.
