Christmas is fast approaching.
The sound of jingle bells on your rooftop is not far off.
And with that in mind many people are beginning to start the Christmas shopping earlier than expected, as many look to make up for lost time last year.
Here’s all you need to know about the Royal Mail last Christmas post dates for 2021 to make sure your carefully picked out gift or card arrives in time for the big day.
When should I send deliveries for Christmas?
As a general rule, never leave it too late.
The last week before Christmas can be a busy time for everyone, including sorting offices and delivery drivers - so preparation is key.
Advice from Royal Mail is to "allow plenty of time for posting".
"Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for international deliveries. Ongoing Covid restrictions, reduced air and freight capacity, high volumes and winter weather conditions are all impacting transportation and local delivery across the globe," said a Royal Mail spokesperson.
