Homeopathy attacks unfair
THE aggressive and dismissive comments in your online forum almost certainly come from people who don’t really know anything about homeopathy and almost certainly have never experienced it.
What we have with homeopathy is a treatment system that a minority of the population have tried and experienced and have found it provided help, improvement or cure when conventional medical practice had not. Homeopathy has a long and honourable record from before the development of modern synthetic drugs, and continues to be widely practised in Europe without the vindictive criticism experienced in the UK.
Surely this service, which costs peanuts, should continue to be offered so that those who can benefit from it do so.
Sadly, the whole consultation process was a farce of which the Lothian Health Board should be ashamed.
