But who is Liz Marsland, and when are the twins due?

Who is Elizabeth Marsland?

Elizabeth Marsland, known as Liz, is an English actress, best known for her role as Liz Steele in the TV series, In The Club.

According to the talent website Lime Management, she trained at the Manchester School of Acting and the London School of Musical Theatre and splits her time between Manchester and London.

Marsland is trained in a number of skills including singing, presenting and voiceovers to add to her acting skills.

She featured in 2020 short, Pace, playing the role of DC Lucas, and starred in 2021 drama True Calling, in  the role of Maddy.

On 28 November 2015, she married Kelvin Fletcher in a “magical ceremony at London’s One Mayfair!” The couple shared their experience with Hello! Magazine.

Do Elizabeth Marsland and Kelvin Fletcher have children together?

The couple already have a five-year-old daughter called Marnie, and a son called Milo, who is two years old.

Kelvin previously discussed fatherhood with OK! Magazine, after the birth of daughter Marnie in 2016. He said: “I never imagined I could be so obsessed with a little person.

“I knew I’d be hands-on, but fatherhood is incredible - I can;t imagine life without her now.”

The Strictly star also admitted: “I was really worried that after the birth, Liz wouldn’t want any more kids – but a couple of days after Marnie was born, Liz told me she couldn’t wait to have another baby!”

In 2018, Marsland gave birth to their second child Milo.

When are their twins due?

The couple confirmed they were having their third child together in December, but they have now revealed that they are having twins, and so a fourth child is also on the way.

Back in December, the couple told PA Media: “There’s no question that for the Fletcher family the best thing to come out of 2021 is the news that we are expecting again.

“’We are feeling extremely grateful and can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family.”

But during their BBC Breakfast appearance, they said: “We just recently found out, to add another curveball if you like. We don’t really do things by halves and then we found out we’re having not just one baby, but two!

“So we’re having twins. It was an absolute eye-opener. So come May, we’ll be delivering lambs for the first time. I’m not going to be delivering babies as such but it is going to be a really busy time!”

The twins are predicted to arrive in the summer, although this has not been announced by the couple.

When is Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure on TV?

Fletcher and his family will be back on our screens on Monday 17 January at 8.30pm in the new BBC One programme, Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure.

The six-part series, which was filmed last summer, sees the family “decamp to the countryside” as they build a new life on their farm situated in the Peak District.

Fletcher said that his new lifestyle has been “an absolute eye-opener”.

On BBC Breakfast, Marsland said that for their children, “It was just a huge playground”.

She added: “And now, Marnie knows all the responsibilities, she knows what needs doing. She knows that this is a job now and we’ve got all these animals we need to look after.

“Even Milo, he’s doing all the sheep whistling, getting them into the field. And when they’re learning that’s probably the proudest moment, seeing what they’re doing and seeing them grow into this life.”

Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure is on BBC One at 8.30pm on Monday 17 January. The six-episode programme will air every Monday night at the same time.
