Scottish Football transfer RECAP: Celtic in for striker, Old Firm battle for Leeds United target, Kyle Lafferty free agent

After yesterday’s whirlwind in Scottish football, Tuesday has been a lot more sedate.

However, we have still had to contend with the fallout from both the Scottish FA’s announcement to mothball football below the Championship until the end of January at the earliest, as well as Celtic’s contentious Dubai trip.

The late concession of a goal to Hibs to drop two more points on Monday evening followed by Scott Brown’s comments about the players on sun loungers has done little to temper the mood amongst he Parkhead support or around Scottish football. It is a story which is set to rumble on for days and weeks and be one of those looked back on with bemusement in years to come.
