League One outfit Falkirk host Ayr United of the Championship on Monday evening at 7.45pm, with the winner of the tie at the Falkirk Stadium joining Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Celtic and Rangers in the last four of the competition. Inverness booked their place with a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock on Friday night, while Celtic and Rangers also joined them in the hat with 3-0 wins over Hearts and Raith respectively.
Details of the draw have been confirmed by the Scottish FA. The teams will have to wait until all fixtures are complete before finding out their opponent, unlike in previous rounds. The draw will take place after the meeting between Falkirk and Ayr and will be shown live on BBC Scotland with former Scotland captain Colin Hendry conducting the draw.
