Hearts and Partick hit out at SPFL for 'misleading' letter regarding court case
Hearts and Partick Thistle have hit out at the SPFL after questioning the contents of a letter sent to all 42 clubs regarding the upcoming court case.
In a joint statement, the two clubs claim that the correspondence signed by chief executive Neil Doncaster is “wrong” and “misleading” and say they are now taking legal advice.
The duo recently launched legal action against their relegation from the Premiership and Championship following the collapse of reconstruction talks in the aftermath of the resolution to conclude the season.
Their statement read: "Along with the other 40 SPFL clubs, Hearts and Partick Thistle have received a letter, signed by Neil Doncaster, that relates to the forthcoming court case.
"It is wrong and much of its content is misleading and the timing itself questionable, we are currently awaiting legal advice on what needs to happen next."
