Cameroon will face Burkina Faso in the opening game of the African Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon.

The competition is set to run until February 6th, with 24 teams battling it out for the trophy.

Cameroon will play host, and as is customary in major international tournaments, will also do the honours of kicking things off when they come up against their West African peers at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde.

When is Cameroon vs Burkina Faso?

The AFCON curtain-raiser gets underway at 4pm GMT on Sunday January 9th.

What channel is Cameroon vs Burkina Fasoe on?

The match is live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football with coverage starting at 3.55pm.

Sky Sports will also be showing coverage of Ethiopia vs Cape Verde later in the evening, with coverage starting at 6.55pm ahead of a 7pm kick-off.
