Queen's Park lose to Annan but still make play-offs

Elgin City ensured a second-place finish with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Arbroath at Borough Briggs. Kyle MacLeod headed the home side into a fifth minute lead from a cross by Brian Cameron who then netted himself from the penalty spot. Midway through the second period, Cameron doubled his tally and, after Josh Skelly briefly reduced Arbroath’s arrears, Craig Gunn restored Elgin’s three-goal cushion.
Elgin now enter the play-offs where they will contest a semi-final with Clyde who finish third following a deserved 3-1 victory over Stirling Albion. David Marsh fired the Bully Wee into a 14th minute lead after which the home side were scarcely troubled. Marsh notched a second before half-time and David Gormleyadded a third. Stirling pulled one back through a stunning Scott Burns strike but the visitors ended the season languishing in seventh spot.
