There are just three weeks until the transfer window closes for Scottish teams in what has been an unusual summer for clubs. Many of the Premiership clubs have already done their business for the season ahead with the start of the campaign allowing managers to see where tweaks need to be made.

It will be interesting to see the comings and goings in the next 21 days. Clubs in England and Europe are eyeing up some of the Celtic and Rangers' key assets, while the knock-on effect of the League One and Two salary cap in England could also have an interesting impact.

Hladky reveals Old Firm interest

Vaclav Hladky has revealed there was interest in him from both sides of the Old Firm.

The former St Mirren goalkeeper was a huge hit at the Buddies before moving to Salford.

His form led to interest from Celtic and Rangers but no serious offer materialised.

Hearts ‘reject’ McDonald bid

Hearts have reportedly rejected a bid from Cypriot side Pafos for Anthony McDonald.

The attacking starlet spent the first half of last season on loan at Dunfermline Athletic.

Robbie Neilson is understood to want to cast an eye over the player.

Hearts in pre-season boost

Celtic and Rangers are keen on Bright Osayi-Samuel from QPR, according to a report.

Former England international Kevin Phillips said: “If Rangers or Celtic got hold of the kid they would be getting a very exciting young player.”

Osayi-Samuel could be available on  a pre-contract, the type of deal Celtic and Rangers have been used to in recent years although they face competition from clubs in England.

Midfielder in Rangers transfer hint

Bongani Zungu has revealed he is set to be on the move in the transfer window.

The Rangers-linked midfielder has confirmed he is leaving French side Amiens on Twitter after being asked if he is still playing for the club.
