Dundee agree McMullan deal
Paul McMullan is set to make the unusual move of going across Tannadice Street from Dundee United to Dundee after agreeing a pre-contract with James McPake’s Championship side.
The winger has made eight appearances for the Tangerines in the top flight so far this season.
Ross on Nisbet speculation
Hibs boss Jack Ross insists there has been no contact regarding a potential move for in-form striker Kevin Nisbet.
The free-scoring forward has been reportedly the subject of an approach from League One Sunderland, formerly managed by Ross, but the Easter Road manager says there has no offers or interest of note.
Celtic target £7m-rated winger
According to reports in France, Celtic have made an approach to try and sign Stade Reims winger Nathanael Mbuku.
The 18-year-old has played 13 times for the Ligue 1 club so far this season and is courting interest from Lille and Parma.
He would reportedly cost £7million to sign on a permanent basis.
Mixed bag for Aberdeen
There’s good news/bad news coming out of Pittodrie this afternoon.
Aberdeen have managed to agree a deal with full-back Greg Leigh that will see the player remain until the summer.
However, manager Derek McInnes has revealed attacker Scott Wright looks like he could be heading off this summer when his contract expires as the Dons have thus far failed to get him to agree to a new contract.
Three Hearts loans as fans favourite signs on
Hearts have been handed a boost after reliable defender Michael Smith put pen to paper on a new 18-month deal.
Meanwhile, the club have announced loan moves for two youngsters while reserve keeper Colin Doyle will remain with Kilmarnock for the rest of the campaign.
Connor Smith and Cammy Logan will both join Paul Hartley’s League One Cove Rangers side.
Rangers target hint
Rangers target Juan Alegria has shared an image on social media which suggests he is one the move.
The Colombian is currently playing in Finland with FC Honka and has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of Alfredo Morelos.
Alegria, a forward, is currently in Amsterdam with speculation ramped up that he could be on the way to signing for a club.
Gallagher to Celtic?
Ex-Scotland internatinoal Alan Hutton reckons Celtic have already held talks about a move for Motherwell star Declan Gallagher.
The Scotland centre-back is out of contract at the end of the season and is keen on a Parkhead move.
Hutton told Football Insider: “I’m sure they’ve had dialogue already, so everybody will be aware of this clause and they’ll be trying to get it done as soon as possible.
Laxalt targets permanent Celtic move
Celtic loanee Diego Laxalt is focused on earning a permanent deal at Parkhead.
The Uruguayan, who has been borrowed from AC Milan for the season, was the subject of a tempting offer from the Middle East.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Laxalt was offered a three-year deal worth around £2.7m a season to sign for Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
However, he is believed to be keen on a staying at Celtic.
Midfielder tipped for Ibrox move
Former England striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has tipped Daniel Johnson to make a move to Rangers for a “fresh challenge”.
The midfielder has reportedly been offered a £17k-a-week deal at Preston.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider: “He’s a real quality midfielder, I was at Villa with him when he was in the reserve team. He’s got legs, he can tackle and most importantly he can score goals, he’s got great technique.
Allan McGregor contract update
Former Rangers star Alan Hutton has revealed his former colleague Allan McGregor is keeping his cards close to his chest regarding a new contract.
The pair are close friends but Hutton admits even he can’t get anythig out of him.
He told Football Insider: “He’s like no, it’s not the right time to be talking about stuff like that, he’s just focused on what’s in front and fair play to him, I think that’s a brilliant way to look at it, not many people would be like that in his situation. Fair play to him.”
