St Mirren 0 - 1 Dunfermline: Pars seize their chance


Despite controlling most of the opening half and creating the lion’s share of the opportunities, the hosts went in a goal behind at the break after Nicky Clark punished some abysmal defending.
Lewis Morgan and David Clarkson had already threatened prior to the opener before Kyle McAlister and John Sutton brought good stops out of Dunfermline keeper Scott Murdoch.

Hide AdThe second half was much of the same with the Buddies well on top, missing chances, lacking a quality final ball and getting steamed up about what can only be described as a bizarre showing from match referee, Nick Walsh.
Scott Gallacher in the Saints goal had one stop from Clark. Other than this it was one-way traffic, leaving manager Jack Ross to rue his team’s lack of punch, and count the days until the transfer window opens.
