Twitter hashtags including #BackingBlue and #AsOne have linked supporters who will be cheering on the visitors at Twickenham for this afternoon’s Guinness Six Nations opener.
The online supporters have included Edinburgh Airport and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon who shared a memory from Murrayfield, toasting success in the fixture.
The national team’s account has also shared Methil Pipe Band’s online performance as a musical warm-up to the game.
