So, if you a dreading a weekend without any international rugby action and looking for something to tide you over until the Six Nations returns then why not take in some of the exciting offerings from Europe’s top leagues?

Bath v Leicester Tigers (Gallagher Premiership)

Gallagher Premiership leaders Leicester Tigers take on bottom side Bath this weekend
  • When: Saturday, February 19 (Kick off - 15:00)
  • Where: The Recreation Ground, Bath

The Gallagher Premiership, which is the top flight of English club rugby, has a full card of action this weekend which is highlighted by league leaders Leicester Tigers travelling to bottom side Bath.

The two teams have had very differing fortunes this season with Tigers having won 13 and lost two of their league matches while Bath have mirrored that by winning just two and losing 13.

The visitors will be heavy favourites for this match but it could be worth tuning in to see them in action and perhaps even an upset win for the hosts.

Munster v Edinburgh (United Rugby Championship)

Edinburgh head to Limerick to face Munster in the URC on Friday night
  • When: Friday, February 18 (Kick off - 19:35)
  • Where: Thomond Park, Limerick
  • How to watch: Premier Sports

The United Rugby Championship (URC) compromises of club sides from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy and South Africa and this weekend’s action kicks off with a fixture that never fails to entertain.

Edinburgh are currently fourth in the URC table but have been top on previous occasions this season and they will travel to three time winners Munster.

The Irish side have not lost at home this season while the visitors have managed away wins against Zebre and Dragons so far.

A win for the Scottish side will propel them back to the top of the table while victory for Munster, who are currently fifth, will put them right back into contention alongside fellow title hopefuls Ulster, Leinster and Glasgow Warriors.

Bordeaux Begles v Racing 92 (Top 14)

Racing 92 head to Bordeaux Begles in the tie of the round from this weekend’s Top 14 fixtures in France
  • When: Sunday, February 20 (Kick off - 20:00)
  • Where: Stade Chaban-Delmas, Bordeaux
  • How to watch: Premier Sports

Finish the weekend of club rugby off with a titanic clash from the top flight of French club rugby as current Top 14 leaders Bordeaux Begles take on six time champions Racing 92.

It’s sure to be a thrilling contest as two sides with ambitions of lifting the trophy go head-to-head and a win for the hosts could see them extend their lead at the top over the chasing pack.

Begels have never won a Top 14 title and Racing will need a victory to halt their momentum and drag themselves back into the chase or could end up bei left too far adrift to realistically catch up.
