Edinburgh singer-songwriter Rosie Nimmo releases her fourth album, Where Time Suspends on 5 February. It’s a beautiful and poetic blend of folk, pop, blues and jazz influenced songs. To date, singles Could Have Been (inspired by a book of love poetry gifted to the artist) and Choices, have earned airplay on BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, from Roddy Hart on his BBC Radio Scotland show and via BBC Wales. Nimmo has previously been championed by Iain Anderson and Janice Forsyth, by our sister title Edinburgh Evening News as well by The Guardian and author Ian Rankin.
Where Time Suspends was produced by long time collaborator Marc Pilley (ex-Hobotalk / Arksong) who in addition to production duties on each of Nimmo’s four albums, performs on them, alongside high profile musicians such as Mairi Campbell.
