What is Cooking with the Stars about?

The new cooking show will see eight celebrities, who have an interest in cooking, mentored with a well-known chef.

The chefs will teach the celebrities how to prepare, cook and present food to restaurant standards, though the end result might not always be Michelin worthy.

Each week the celebrities will be graded and the bottom two will face a cook off, where they will cook a dish without the help of their mentors.

The dishes will then be blind-tested by all chef mentors and the loser will get the chop.

Who are the eight celebrities on the show?

The star-studded line up is sure to cook up a treat for viewers.

The contestants are comedian and actor Griff Rhys-Jones, Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas, DJ and songwriter Naughty Boy, presenter and performer Denise Van Outen, actress Catherine Tyldesley, McFly’s Harry Judd, TV presenter AJ Odudu and comedian and actor Johnny Vegas.

Who are their celebrity chef mentors?

The chef line up is equally as exquisite.

Also on the show will be Mowgli street food founder and restaurateur Nisha Katona, chef Ronnie Murray, chef Jack Stein and Korean chef, US TV presenter and restaurateur Judy Joo and chef and Snackmasters competitor Tristan Welch.
